All about me....and Walter

I have been writing all my life... well OK! since I was around 6 years old, in one way or another. I was born in the rugged moorlands of Yorkshire and in my twenties I was adopted by the rolling mountains and crashing seas of Wales, both are beautiful backdrops for any story.

I always thought I would write an amazing novel but that hasn't happened yet. Between juggling 5 children over the years (sometimes almost literally) and forging a career in Archaeology and Heritage Education, the novel had to wait. But, I have written a comedy pilot and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's funny (well I laughed as I wrote it), fun and the characters delight me, so I am hoping they will eventually delight you too.

I would like to tell you how Walter formed in my mind, but to be honest he just showed up one day, with a ready made history and a tantalising future. He's still finding his way around the little bit of the planet that is Julia's back garden at the moment. Luckily he wandered into her care and with the help of her sisters feisty Ava and calming Martha they may be able to keep him safe from the impending danger!

I'm in the middle of weaving my way through episode two and I hope to keep you updated soon.
